Quantum computing in molecular magnets

Leuenberger and Loss proposed using the spin eigenstates of molecular magnets as quantum-information states and worked out a Grover-search implementation for Fe${}_8$ and Mn${}_{12}$. This is the earliest landmark proposal used for the Qubit Zoo molecular-spin lineage.
