Integrated photonic source of Gottesman–Kitaev–Preskill qubits

Summary

Demonstrates an integrated silicon-nitride source of optical GKP states at 1550 nm using photon-number-resolving detection. The states show at least four resolved peaks in each quadrature and a $3\times 3$ lattice of negative-Wigner-function regions, while remaining outside the fault-tolerant regime because of optical loss.
