Single-qubit gates with errors at the 10⁻⁷ level

Demonstrates single-qubit Clifford gate errors of 1.5(4)×10⁻⁷ using microwave-driven ⁴³Ca⁺ hyperfine clock qubits at Oxford. Nearly an order of magnitude improvement over the previous record (Harty et al. 2014). Uses randomized benchmarking with up to 2.1 million Cliffords.
